Our churchyard is a tranquil oasis set in the midst of Abington Park. The headstones tell the stories of many local families and there are a number of war graves.
A team of volunteers work tirelessly to maintain the grounds and try to keep the churchyard tidy whilst respecting the needs of the wildlife that surrounds us. During the changing seasons you can spot a variety of wild plants, grasses and insects that enrich this space.
New burials in the churchyard are restricted as the available space for new plots is limited. Please make enquiries of the Rector [rector@abingtonchurch.org.uk] to find out more.
